I love this move by LeBron, about time, man. Mj did it, Kobe did it, now finally Bron. The Three HorseMen of Bald and my 1-2-3 in that order for Goat for the entirety of basketball.

Bron wants it man, ill always give him that honor even though i upset people when i deplore my knowledge of Michael Jordan and why i feel he is not only the unanimous Goat of basketball, but sport in general. LeBron is more of a freak of nature, arguably the overall most athletic person ever but that only matters so much in sport. Theres a gray line where winning and dominating matter more.

But i digress, i don’t want this to be a Goat debate, Bron is still cementing his legacy, let him cook. Id love a championship for Philly and i was pumped about The Kobe Bryant Bubble Championship, as i call it. That was for him, beyond Covid, that was what was on everyone’s minds, and i watched the entirety of The Bubble, that was real basketball and everyone wanted to win, and Bron delivered.

If he wins 2 championships with the 76ers, does that make LeBron The Goat? (Here We Go – Refer back to paragraph above)

I wouldn’t think so to me. My logic is that the game is just way too far gone, NFL too, MLB used to be the most dangerous game of them all and its still dangerous taking the plate, but nobody is allowed to cleat clock ya like they used to, its harder to hit a baseball today, but not to slide into second. Its softer, everything is softer in general. It’s The Feminization Of The American Male in society, and with sport it might be necessary. Personally, I’m a sicko, and hate it. The precautions we take now to keep sports safe. Which is an oxymoron like a game like Football, but even more so with basketball. It was already a mostly non-contact sport that had an edge and a perfect brutality to it, then David Stern lessened the impact of toughness, and Adam Silver sent it to the cleaners. Apparently, no push-offs this year, ill believe it when i see it. Kelly Oubre said it best

You can watch the tape, it’s so obvious how bad the game has gotten. Im excited for it this year because of the storylines, which the NBA has been missing, but once The GlobeTrotter B.S. starts happening, ill want to switch to an unranked college game because theres at least some integrity left in the college game.

So no, LeBron going back to back at whatever age does not matter. He’s stacked the deck his whole career, and it just doesn’t move the needle for me.

But do i think it can happen?
