I just found out it was called Animal Planet’s “The Most Extreme” but essentially it was a SportsCenter Top 10 but with Animals and it was sick. Truly, one of my FavoRight shows growing up.
The Matrix like graphics were ahead of its time and the voiceover work was all-time. The perfect late night show that was equally cool as it was informative. I don’t remember anything really, but at the time it felt like I was smarter than everyone who didn’t watch the show. Because I was.
For some reason I couldn’t sleep after watching it. Just hoping another episode would roll on or I would try to lift up all my pillows on just my back like a Dung Beetle.
Do shows like that even exist anymore? Everything has been done I guess. Can’t copy or it would be copyright. Sucks. They should bring it back if they haven’t already.
I guess I’m mostly nostalgic about life and the course I’m on is still sick and cool, but like my childhood in hindsight was absolutely amazing. Maybe we all feel like that but, I don’t know we truly had it made.
