PART 1
This is the first time i stopped watching the NBA playoffs since i stopped watching the NBA as a whole after KD went to the Warriors.
Everyone was excited about that transaction but i was sick to my stomach from it. Sure i did appreciate the highlights after the fact, they were a high-powered, scoring machine. I just couldn’t get behind the cowardice that KD displayed. Sure LeBron brought it onto himself by opening the door of free agency self-indulgence but to do what KD did actually made me root for LeBron over Steph and them even though i wasn’t participating in watching it unfold. I knew the Warriors would win but at what cost. The league was really a cess pool of free agent splurging. KD doing it again with the Nets, but with less success. Who knows if he had a shoe size just one size smaller
As for this year i just cant get behind the NBA. I saw part of a Thunder game, unfortunately because my Grandmother will accidentally put on a game and let it sit.
I had to tell her to turn it off because immediately and i mean immediately SGA foul baited a mid range shot to get free throws.
Then i was pleasantly surprised when she did the same thing and the T-Wolves vs. Nuggets game was actually good. They let them play for both teams, not just one team like it is for the Thunder. I had to leave to go out for my friend’s second round of his birthday weekend or i would’ve kept watching and i ended up watching some of it at the bar.
Tonight, on a casual Sunday night, i normally would be watching, but i’m just so turned off by the league, man. I don’t feel like turning it on and risking the 50/50 ball, where the game is just a bunch of touch fouls. I don’t feel like wasting my time, so i’m watching Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom and it is so much better.
Man movies need to go back to analog film. Based on how long it takes for the pictures to download on my sister’s Sony Alpha 3, i cannot imagine how long producing film would take, but it blows away modern day digital films to me.
So inviting and hypnotic, true to form and everlasting in the gaze of classics that seem foreignly timeless compared to some great films of today, but of a different feel.
Might go timeless after this is over and play Super Smash Brothers on 1p story mode – Very Hard level to test my skills and just see how hard it is. I failed to win with just 3 lives on Hard, so i’m doomed to lose, but thats part of the rush of it
I need to start spitting game like Indy man, no chance i will, but man i forgot how to true game that mug is.
Harrison Ford might be the Goat man. So underrated, swag to the max, crashes planes irl and was Indy and Han Solo, what else could you ask for as a movie star?
Who else has a more powerful two punch than H. Ford?
